#4 Window between Supper & Slumber.
Hello My Darling!
OK! If Wednesday’s short list of quick tips for fat loss left you wanting, hopefully today and the next 3 will fill you to the brim with understanding and know how.
#4 Window between Supper & Slumber
Make sure you have at least 2-3 hours (ideally 4) between your last meal and bedtime.
I do agree that eating more of your food while the sun is up and less when the sun is down is metabolically better, BUT we don’t all do that.
The, “don’t eat after 7”, rule, or whatever the heck it is – isn’t necessarily the thing to live and die by, but how long you are awake AFTER your last meal of the day is.
WHY? Because when we eat (even if what we eat isn’t high glycemic) our blood sugar rises.
Each time our blood sugar elevates, SOME amount of insulin is released. When we sleep Human Growth Hormone is produced (aids in Testosterone production, rebuilding of the body and FAT LOSS).
And Insulin MESSES w HGH production!
SO if we make a point to have a 2-3 (ideally 4+) hour window between the end of dinner time and bed time we eliminate the risk of having insulin interfere w that magical hormone!
Yay!!
So take off the hair shirt of feeling like weight gain is inevitable simply because your lifestyle dictates that you eat late.
Just make a point to honor the aforementioned deliberate window and you will be setting yourself up to lose instead of fail ;).
To helping you to Lose Fat Fast!
