Hello Dear One!
Are you facing another Holiday Season of both excitement AND dread over all the celebrations and indulgent foods that go along with them??
If so, you are NOT alone.
There’s an average of 5 – 10 extra pounds that are gained from the one month period between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
What to do about that?
Help your body with INSULIN release and sensitivity!!
Insulin is a fat storage hormone, so the less abundant it is in your body the better.
If you’d like to do more than grin and bear it, and actually set yourself for less failure and more success – this series could offer some helpful hints.
#3. STOP SNACKING!!
Does this seem like an obvious thing to be aiming to diminish in life in general?
If so, is that a matter of thinking about what you’re snacking on and the calories it contains?
If so, that’s honestly only part of the story.
Sure, what food is comprised of matters, but ANOTHER reason why you might wish to STOP this behavior entirely is it’s affect on insulin.
Each time we grace our lips with some delectable morsel, our blood sugar rises (to some degree) and insulin is released.
Regardless if this food is low glycemic, mostly protein, all vegetables…it doesn’t matter. Our blood sugar rises and insulin gets released.
So the nature of eating more often AUTOMATICALLY challenges (or even decreases!) insulin sensitivity.
Many of us believe that we need to eat more often in order to support our metabolism, but that is a falsehood, as it’s our thyroid that supports our metabolism.
SO if you’d like to start to really give yourself an additional assist with insulin, aiming to eat three meals a day would actually serve you better.
Or if you’re in a fat burning mode, two is quite common (that’s what I do), and some of us only eat one!
And if you’d like to know more about a program that is ALL about helping in the insulin sensitivity (and thyroid/metabolism) effort with awareness like this item and MORE, please check out Fat Burning Mastery.
It’s a 5 week program that’s meant to change your biology and your life while putting weight loss easily within reach.
Check it out here.
AND/OR check out a Facebook Live I made today on the same matter.
To getting you clearer on how the body works, & how to make it work for you.
