(Insulin) Sensitive for the Season. #4

Hello Dear One!

Are you facing another Holiday Season of both excitement AND dread over all the celebrations and indulgent foods that go along with them??

If so, you are NOT alone.

There’s an average of 5 – 10 extra pounds that are gained from the one month period between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What to do about that?

Help your body with INSULIN release and sensitivity!!

Insulin is a fat storage hormone, so the less abundant it is in your body the better.

If you’d like to do more than grin and bear it, and actually set yourself for less failure and more success – this series could offer some helpful hints.

#4. WIDEN THE WINDOW

Ok!  So TODAY (and perhaps for all days henceforth) it would be a GREAT idea to deliberately increase the span between when you last stop eating for the day, and when you have your next meal tomorrow.

Today is a day where we often have a turkey dinner sandwich+ later in the eve after the day’s doings.

One CRAZY thought I have is for you to make sure you have your fill for the main event, and aim to tailor the completion of that meal (OR if you really must dine again to make sure you’re doing it) earlier in the day vs later.

So two reasons why this will serve you well.

1. Having a least 2-3 hours (ideally 4) between when you last east and bedtime will positively help with weight loss.

When we eat (you know this!!) insulin is released, and insulin too close to bedtime will mess with Human Growth Hormone (helps with weight loss) as well as testosterone (helps with muscle mass, libido, confidence+++).

2.  Having a larger span of time between when dinner ends and breakfast (or something later) will also increase insulin sensitivity.

When we “fast” through the night and have a more generous allotment of time between feedings we not only lower the level of insulin in our body, but we also lower the “persistence” of insulin wishing to be allowed entry into cells.

You give your cells a break from having to deal with the constant “noise” of insulin and as a result they become more sensitive due to it’s presence lessening.

It’s like absence making the heart grow fonder for your cells.

Love it!

And if you’d like to know more about a program that is ALL about helping in the insulin sensitivity effort (and knows how to capitalize on that “fasting” window) with awareness like this item and MORE, please check out Fat Burning Mastery.

It’s a 5 week program that’s meant to change your biology and your life while putting weight loss easily within reach.

Check it out here.

AND/OR check out a Facebook Live I made today on the same matter.
