Hello Dear One!
Have these two words seemed interchangeable?
They’re not.
Dieting typically speaks to restriction and the sense of WAY out of the ordinary behavior.
“No butter or oil on my chicken breast please.”
“Could I have light dressing, and would you put it on the side?”
“No bread for me.”
“I can’t have dessert right now.”
Measuring or weighing food.
Counting macros or calories.
Aiming to eat very small amounts of both…
Exhausting.
Contrasted with a DIET, or a TYPICAL way one eats.
I consider this a lifestyle choice based on what the food (and behaviors) do for you.
How they help you.
How they make you feel.
What they enable you to do and have.
IF you’d like to hear a little more about this concept, how I came to see the distinction through my own journey with emotional eating, and why I fell in love with fat burning all over again – please check out the video below.
And if you’re interested in understanding more about HOW to get into the mode of fat burning and a DIET that you might wish to adopt for all your live long years, please check out the 5 week Fat Burning Mastery program here.
To getting you clearer on how the body works, & how to make it work for you.
