Hello Dear One!
Now that we got a handle on the fact that fat burners rock a fasted state through intermittent fasting on the daily which helps with fat loss (more insulin sensitive body = easier to lose weight and harder to gain it), ESPECIALLY on game day, please know that our strategy goes beyond that.
So. Unlike a traditional keto diet where carbs are shunned fully, fat burning actually embraces carbs strategically.
When we limit carbs (and calories) the hormone Leptin lowers.
Leptin allows our body to feel like all is cool in school and helps us to be satisfied on less food and release weight easily.
When carbs and calories are in shorter supply our body lowers Leptin levels as it gets hip to the wonder of our survival.
If you’ve ever been super strict, or simply on point with a diet that limited carbs and had you consuming substantially less calories than your current state required and had success with weight loss...
And then suddenly didn’t.
This is more than likely why.
BUT if you periodically RE-up Leptin levels w carb feasts 😍, all can keep chugging along as desired while enabling you to have your cake and eat it too.
SO, holidays/celebrations/fun events are often a PERFECT place for a carb feast.

OR, if that’s not either your day or how you roll (as many fat burners, myself included, eat smaller amounts of carbs more often) – then placing good, better, best in your path is also super helpful.

So what did this Fat Burner do during her celebration?
Admittedly I started w Prosecco (we’ll get to that tomorrow) and chips. 😬😵
A couple chicken wings that were tasty (not REALLY my thing) were had.
One deviled egg.
One stuffed mushroom cap.
THEN I switched to chili.
Had a good amount of that.
Then incorporated cornbread ( = my FAVORITE) and ate a substantial amount 😵, some w butter, some without ( = get FULL).
So then when dessert rolled around I honestly wasn’t hungry for it.
I wasn’t super jazzed about it as I’m not a mega cheesecake (raspberry or otherwise) fan.
I did have a teeny piece, and that was MORE than enough for me.
Done.
So by eating what I desired, but being mostly mindful of how things would affect me during and after, it was easier to both have space for the things I was most excited about (CORNBREAD 😍), but to also fill up on food that I knew would LAST in my belly and not result in boomerang hunger later in the eve.
