Hello Darling One!
Are YOU a mega Mom who’s currently running her own mini empire while managing children, a household, a career, with a seeming unending pile of tasks and obligations??
Eeeeeeeee.
If you are I wouldn’t be surprised.
So many of the women I work with fit this description, and do it WELL.
One thing I’d also like to highlight is for someone that gives oodles of care to others, she also requires oodles of care for HERSELF.
Often uber busy Moms feel guilty about putting their needs first or taking any time away from their families, but the truth is it’s kind of NECESSARY.
When you give from a well that’s not continuing to be refilled by:
– self care that feels GREAT (hair, nails, baths, naps)
– time out with girlfriends or loved ones that you enjoy the crap put of
– space for your interests (reading, music, art, theater, gardening)
– pleasurable purchases (new robe, shoes, sunglasses, CAR)
– or just even the right to have a NEED right freaking NOW…
We feel like a shell of ourselves by always being focused out and on others, usually depleted, often aggravated, and GENERALLY participating in some sort of self sabotaging regrettable behavior in the name of pleasure that in reality is actually punishment (retail therapy, drinking wine, eating late at night, staying up late).
So how to unhook from the unconscious merry go round that life can feel like?
STOP.
Say NO to certain things that are ENTIRELY unpleasant, or figure out how to make the less desirable WAY more fun.
Say YES to things that you love and TELL your family/responsibilities that these things, like them, are ALSO important to you.
We train people as to how we want them to treat us. Constantly.
And when we don’t we sometimes end up with treatment or a lack of consideration that we really don’t want.
And if you’d like a little more of an argument for WHY you should prioritize your pleasure ESPECIALLY if you have TOO much to do, please check this video out on the matter.

If you’re a busy Mom who DOES want assistance in the realm of fitness (in person and online) or mindset, please check out this list of coaching programs.
AND if you’re a Mom with a bit of a commute or time occupied with traveling to and from games+++, please give my new podcast, the Unbound podcast, a listen for all things fat loss, fitness, and freedom related.
The better you feel, the better you will be to ALL (especially yourself).
Love you love you.
