Hello Dear One!
Has this seemed like an oxymoron?
Have you assumed that a fat burning (or mostly Keto – though we do things slightly differently) diet automatically requires that one eats LOADS of PROTEIN??
Especially in the form of animal products??
Well, let’s have you rest easy as fat burning isn’t mostly about protein – IT’S ABOUT FAT!
If it hasn’t been made highly apparent YET, protein is NOT a good source of fuel.
Carbohydrates are an easy source of fuel, and fat is an EFFICIENT one.
Fat burners turn to fat more of the time then most, but even with that, it’s not in crazy amounts.
And FAT my darlings, is EASILY found in plants.
For example:
– AVOCADOS
– Avocado Oil
– Coconut Milk
– Coconut Cream
– Coconut Oil
– ALL THINGS COCONUT
– Sunflower Seeds
– Tahini
– Olives
– Olive Oil
– Walnuts
– Pecans
– MACADAMIA NUTS
– Cashews
– Cashew Butter
– Almonds
– Almond Butter
– Peanut Butter
– Tofu
– Edamame
– and DARK CHOCOLATE
And if you’re at ALL flexible with fish or dairy the list only grows.
So, please strike that concern from the record if it’s been holding you back from either finding out more or GETTING your body in a fat burning mode, as the truth is – if health is your bag fat burning is GOLD.
(Ahem, less inflammation, less degeneration, more energy, easy weight loss+++…).
