Hello Dear One!
Hope you are both feeling well physically as well as emotionally at this moment in time.
I thought to share SEVERAL points that I’ve gleaned mostly from reading a particular article about COVID-19, and about what you can do additionally for supporting your immune system as best as possible.
Some finer points, that I’ve personally found eye opening and of comfort:
– the population most at risk of a severe health outcome are the elderly and those with a compromised immune system
– most people will NOT contract this virus, and most that do will experience flu like symptoms only
– most people don’t show symptoms until 5 days after contracting the virus, and then the symptoms generally last 2 – 14 days
– one is most contagious in the 5 day period BEFORE they show symptoms and then for about a week (to ten days max) after
– once you’ve gotten the virus there is a SLIGHT possibility of a relapse of symptoms, and an almost impossibility of being able to be reinfected
OK! I hope that was useful and welcome.
Now IMMUNE SUPPORT:
I hope we’re all clear that more sleep, more water, less stress, a supportive diet (low glycemic or of the fat burning variety), taking pharmaceutical grade supplements on the regular as well as WASHING YOUR HANDS is REALLY what a body needs to stay robust.
But here are some more specifics for this moment in time.
– VITAMIN D (6,000 – 10,000 IU) – 1x/daily
– this is why getting out in the sun is so encouraged
– Multi Vitamin/Mineral – 2xs/daily
– Pure Fish Oil – 2xs/daily
– Grape Seed Extract (200-400mg) 2xs/daily
– Probiotics (Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus) – 1x/day
And I will also mention VITAMIN C!!
Taking the bulk of these supplements on the regular is a GREAT idea, but NOW would be a wise time to start for the long haul.
I will personally be reaching out to past and present USANA customers should you have a wish to either discuss what might be helpful for you at this moment in time, or if there’s something particular you might be wishing for.
Please use precautions at this moment, and know that they are temporary. And that the closer we adhere to them the faster they will not be necessary.
And if you are in need of ANY additional health, waistline, or personal training support – especially of the ONLINE variety – please check out this series of programs.
Happy to discuss a desire that doesn’t yet exist as well.
Love to all!
To getting you clearer on how the body works, and how to make it work for you.
