Hope you are taking care of yourself in these stressful and turbulent times.
Change is HAPPENING around us currently, and I thought to speak to what might help grant perspective with what BIG CHANGE really requires – whether it’s in our greater world, or personally.
The thing that seems most surprising about Big Change is that it not only takes action, but it also takes TIME.
Brief effort will only get you so far.
But if there are mountains to move, being in it for the long haul is what is required.
And IF that is the case – being committed to this becoming part of your LIFE or LIFESTYLE is also kind of the deal.
Do you like the behaviors that go along with this bigger change? Are there ways that you can alter or choose actions that work better/best that still help create your desired outcome?
Taking ownership for how you’re running your life is insanely helpful to keep you engaged vs resistant and rebellious, ready to jump ship when the going gets slightly tougher than it’s already been.
And regarding big change a helpful awareness about how things progress are:
It’s hard at the beginning, messy in the middle, and glorious at the end.
That might be a useful perspective to retain when things do feel challenging.
What you want is ALWAYS worth time and effort, and knowing what to expect to get it can often make the process easier.
And LASTLY – the largest thing to remember about BIG CHANGE is that things have HAD to be pretty BAD for us to voluntarily embark upon this challenging and unknown journey in the first place.
We do NOT willingly sign up for such struggle, we only do it because we NEED to change.
Or THINGS need to change – and we know we have to be a part of making that happen.
So if you’re CLEAR that more is needed for you or from you – WAY TO GO!
Big Change is for the brave and bold and are the ones who ultimately change their lives and the lives of those around them.
