Better Baking Sweetener for Fat Burning

Hello Dear One!

If you have also seen the light on the value of zero calorie, zero carb sweeteners – I applaud you.

No we’re not talking things like Equal, Sweet and Low, or Aspartame (as those offerings have mega health repercussions like causing cancer in lab animals, still messing with blood sugar, and even making you hungry!).

The pool I tend to encourage people to pull from contains offerings like STEVIA, Monk Fruit, and SOMETIMES sugar alcohols like Maltitol and Erythritol…

We did a rousing expose´ on Erythritol on a Facebook live weeks ago should you wish to hear our discussion about BAD GAS and EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA – but I thought to check out one more offering of the stuff and here are my findings.

SWERVE = BETTER VERSION OF BAD

If you’ve committed to using less/mostly no sugar in your kitchen AND you bake, it can feel tough to only stay loyal to Stevia.

And there are many Fat Burning Friendly recipes that call for ERYTHRITOL.

My assumption is that Stevia is simply more costly to put into granulated form, Monk Fruit alone IS expensive – so Erythritol it is.

But knowing what I know regarding the body having a hard time breaking the stuff down – the fact that Swerve paired it with a PREBIOTIC gave me pause.

Prebiotics are FOOD for GOOD BACTERIA in the gut.

(USANA also makes a prebiotic fiber based product I use daily called Fibergy.)

They are a SUPPORTIVE substance.

Which I thought could possibly assist the digestion process with this substance that the body sees as foreign, and…IT DID!!!!

LESS GAS and NO DIARRHEA!!

BUT my belly still HURT after eating a large amount of it.

Some people are totally fine with Erythritol, and some of us are NOT.

HOWEVER this rendition absolutely gave me more encouragement to possibly use it in a baked dish if absolutely needed AND possibly required a smaller amount.

It also made me see the assistance a prebiotic created when added to the sweetener AND that I might wish to use Fibergy right alongside it when/if I do to further mitigate the effects.

So there you are!

Not a total solution but a BETTER version of a BAD option especially when you would like to easily create Fat Burning friendly and waistline supportive desserts at home.
