Hello Dear One!
I am in the land of social media ALL the time, and I thought to share a story I experienced there.
Monday I had a little flak thrown my way when commenting on a post about seeking out Keto friendly desserts because they were reliably lower in carbs.
I also celebrated that particular food blogger (who does NOT specialize in Keto meals) for what she DOES do well, and to keep it up (sexy, chewy, fudgey brownies?!? YES PLEASE!)
A response to my comment from another follower contained words like, “should”, and “intuitive eating”.
That shit went up my ass a mile but I simply made the person right and went on my way.
HOWEVER it made me see how CLUELESS people are about WHY they prefer what they prefer and why their body demands what it gets.
We ALL love sugar.
Carbs ARE delicious.
They’re also harmful.
And in large amounts over time lethal.
For real.
Sugar is equivalent to the poison that alcohol is.
100% energy. No nutritive value.
So there’s THAT.
But we still eat it!
I still eat it!
My fat burners still eat it!
WHEN we’re no longer addicted.
WHEN we’re no longer running ON it.
WHEN we’re running on FAT.
THEN we have it.
Because THEN we can simply enjoy the pie, or Christmas cookies, or sexy pasta, or delectable bread, or flourless chocolate torte, or WHATEVER!
Then we’re not biologically weak willed around the stuff, desperately trying to get our energetic needs met with a fleeting source from a TINY reservoir of fuel.
THEN we can have our cake and eat it too.
And so can YOU.
So DO eat sugar, but RUN on FAT.
