Hello Dear One!
I hope everyone is feeling and doing well in this holiday season.
Just thought to share a quick list to refer to IF wishing to incorporate some EASY STRATEGY to/around your Holiday Meal.
And feel free to pick and choose from this list.
SOME strategic and supportive moves are ALWAYS better than NONE.
Do the stuff that feels easy if desired, and recognize that weight loss or maintenance does not necessarily have to feel HARD.
Holiday Helpers:
– WORKOUT
– a walk or brief HIIT circuit day of will help you be more insulin sensitive for the feast
– APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (2 TBS in water with Stevia)
– have this to help with hunger before dinner
– have this before the meal to help with blood sugar sensitivity, insulin, and fat metabolism+
– have this later at night to help with hunger before bed
– ONE MAIN MEAL
– listen to your body, but if you can wait for the meal – do.
– have coffee/bulletproof coffee earlier in the day.
– have DECAF coffee with dessert to seal the meal and to help you NOT go back for more
– GET FULL. Undeniably so. That can help your BRAIN also feels satisfied and make it easier to NOT keep going back for more.
– ORDER OF EVENTS
– small plate of appetizers (ONE PLEASE)
– start with salad
– aim to make sure to have protein first and carbs last
– make sure you eat for FUEL as well as for FUN
– if you fill up on FUEL you’ll create less negative impact from FUN
– ALCOHOL
– take vitamin C before and charcoal (ideally) with your beverages
– have one big glass of water along with each drink
– use this drinking technique to FEEL MORE while drinking LESS
– HAPPY HOLIDAY
– eat what you love
– don’t eat what you don’t love
– listen to your belly and your body
– make yourself right for whatever you’re doing or have done
– look for things that are right and right about you
– HAVE FUN!
– focus on gratitude for whomever you’re with, wherever you are, and whatever you’re doing
– know that you’re loved and special
