How to Feel More Love

Hello Dear One!

In the spirit of it being almost Valentine’s Day it seemed apropos to talk about LOVE.

What love consists of and most importantly HOW to GIVE LOVE.

Love is made up of three things:

1. Attention

2. Appreciation

3. Acknowledgement

All things LOVING are fulfilling one of these main camps.

And then with that being said, LOVE IS AN ACT.

Love IS, because love DOES.

Know this when you’re wishing to truly be loving to someone you adore.

And know this when you wish to be loving to YOURSELF.

1. Attention

2. Appreciation

There are 5 Love Languages:

1. Words of Affirmation

2. Physical Touch

3. Gifts

4. Acts of Service

5. Quality Time

ALL are nice, but we tend to gravitate towards one (or two) WAY more.

How do we know which one is our favorite flavor?

Hint – we tend to do it automatically to others.

So once yo’ve honed in on your favorite – DO THAT FOR YOURSELF.

Truth be told, if we’re not feeling loved it’s more than likely because we’re NOT ACTING LOVING towards ourselves.

So what fits your particular bill of bubbles and bliss?

Make sure you’re loving yourself up in this manner A LOT.

Love notes on the bathroom mirror, brushing your own hair, getting a massage, buying yourself those boots you’ve been salivating over for ages, putting up those shelves with help or by hiring someone, giving yourself a day for you that involves nourishing activities and people if desired.

And the last WINNING INSIGHT I’d love to share that I stumbled upon a few years ago when I felt LOW and LOW on LOVE, was that I realized love was a RELATIONSHIP that I created between myself and someTHING.

So yes to others, yes to ourselves, but yes to THINGS.

The agency that I took back that day was remarkable.

I realized that the relationship I could have with THINGS/activities/hobbies/etc was a SURE FIRE WAY for me to feel more love.

That day by writing down a list of things I loved that I wanted to PURSUE and ENGAGE with more gave me more lit up ENERGY and LOVE!

Farmhouses and bungalow styles homes, staying in a treehouse, being reminded that I want to take a long weekend away each month, Pagan holidays I wanted to invite myself to that a friend hosts, sending VALENTINES cards to people in my life that I love, SINGING, taking a dance class…

When we HAVE things that we love in our life we HAVE LOVE in us.

If you want more love in your life it must start from the inside – but not in a limp just buying yourself flowers and repeating 5 affirmations in the morning.

Uncover and discover things that make you feel EXCITED!!

GO LOOKING FOR THEM!

They’re there!!

And create a RELATIONSHIP with them.

And what ends up happening is that you will HAVE the love that you desire – and you won’t need to hungrily or desperately search for it in others.

AND because it’s in YOU – you will draw others to you because of your light.

WE DO NEED OTHERS.

But others aren’t meant to be a continual source of life support.

You need to fill up first by creating RELATIONSHIPS with outlets in your life that YOU LOVE.

That are just for you.

And that enthusiasm and joy will radiate out making you a bit of a beacon for love, joy, wealth, opportunity, good fortune and much more magic and ease than you ever could have dreamed of.

So no other person has to be any particular way for you to feel amazing.

We can find these treasures all around us, as they are there.

AND if you’d like to perform a MEGA ACT of SELF LOVE – getting your body into a Fat Burning mode would certainly do it.

Let weight loss be a point of serenity and clarity by being guided into using fat for fuel, listening to your body to understand what you might need next/instead, all while following a simple tried and true structure.
